Evolution Improvements

In cases where most of the objects are of low mass (below the evolution mass threshold), evolution is now many times faster. This includes solar system simulations into which thousands of asteroids have been imported, which previously evolved very slowly.

Other Improvements

Version 4.4.1 of AstroGrav also has many other minor improvements and bug fixes, including the following.

  • A bug has been fixed that caused evolution to fail after importing the same asteroid or comet twice.
  • A bug has been fixed that caused all orbits to disappear after cancelling the editing of an object with the Edit / Edit Object... command.
  • A bug has been fixed that caused all orbits to disappear after cancelling the addition of a new object with the Edit / Add Object... command.
