Version 5.2.1 - 16th August 2024

The following information is intended for existing users who are already familiar with AstroGrav and want to quickly find out about the main changes.

Version 5.2.1 of AstroGrav is an upgrade containing several minor improvements and bug fixes. If you already have a copy of AstroGrav, all you need to do is to download Version 5.2.1 and use it in place of your old version. If you have any problems with this new version, please don't hesitate to contact us so that we can help you out.

Version 5.2.1 of AstroGrav has several minor improvements and bug fixes, including the following.

  • In solar system simulations, the status bar's date popup has been improved to show the date and time in several different formats.
  • A Font slider has been added to the View tab in the Edit / Preferences... command, which allows you to adjust the size of the text in view windows.
  • The default size of the text in view windows has been increased.
  • The brightness of many of the lines in view windows has been increased.
  • A bug has been fixed that could cause errors of up to half a degree in azimuth and altitude figures, when viewing from a location on the Earth's surface.
  • A bug has been fixed that could cause a random re-orientation of a view when the fixed particle was removed.
