Apophis

This simulation shows the very close encounters of asteroid Apophis with the Earth on 13th April 2029 and 13th April 2036.

If you run the simulation forward, you can watch the close encounters of Asteroid Apophis with the Earth, and see how the asteroid's orbit is significantly changed by the influence of the Earth's gravity.

Since different computers run at different speeds, you may need to edit the evolution time step to get the simulation to run at an acceptable rate.
