2004 FH

This simulation shows the very close encounter of asteroid 2004 FH with the Earth on 18th March 2004.

If you run the simulation forward, you can watch the close encounter from different viewpoints, and see how the asteroid's orbit was significantly changed by the influence of the Earth's gravity.

Since different computers run at different speeds, you may need to edit the evolution time step to get the simulation to run at an acceptable rate.
