Many Body System

This simulation shows many massive stars orbiting a much more massive central star. It was created by making a new simulation, then using the Edit / Add Family... command with the '3D Collapsing Cloud' quick setup, and then running the system until it had collapsed about as far as it would go - with most of the stars combined into one large central star, orbited by the remaining stars.

If you set the simulation running, you can watch how it evolves, and see how the orbits change as the stars interact with each other. Since different computers run at different speeds, you may need to edit the evolution time step to get the simulation to run at an acceptable rate.
