Summary
Changes the reference frame that is used in the frontmost simulation.
Description
When you select this command, a small dialog will be displayed allowing you to choose whether to transform to a reference frame in which the barycenter is stationary, at the origin, or both.
- If you choose to transform to a reference frame in which the barycenter is stationary, then the absolute positions of the objects will remain the same and the absolute velocities of the objects will be modified.
- If you choose to transform to a reference frame in which the barycenter is at the origin, then the absolute positions of the objects will be modified and the absolute velocities of the objects will remain the same.
- If you choose to transform to a reference frame in which the barycenter is both stationary and at the origin, then all the absolute elements of the objects will be modified.
